Gabby Pearson has just been dumped big time, and she is not taking it lying down. Gabby really liked Reed Larkin but after nine dates, after nine evenings of sexual tension and hot kisses, Gabby is ready to finally get down and dirty with Reed. Butů he's dumping her! In a restaurant, after finishing their meal! Well, Gabby's temper rears its head and she lets Reed have it, full on the head with a glass of wine. There's no way she'd take him back, ever!

Reed Larkin just made a big mistake. He dumped Gabby, his assignment, but now his boss wants him to get back together with her in order to keep an eye on her work activities which are raising a red flag with the secret agency he works for. Reed does not want to involve Gabby in his secret life but it looks like he has no choice. It's going to take a lot of groveling to get Gabby back into his arms and he just has one day. Time is of the essence but all Reed wants is to protect Gabby and though he doesn't realize it, he wants to give her his heart.

HelenKay Dimon succeeds once again at making the dialogue fast-paced and sexy. Unfortunately, there is a bit too much bickering between Reed and Gabby which takes away some of the romance. The secret agency and mystery angle also was rather sparse in the story, definitely faltering under the building romance. Dimon keeps the chemistry sizzling and the characterization of Gabby is plenty of fun to read about. She is a woman that will keep any man hopping. Reed just had to do his best to keep up.

Right Here, Right Now is an appealing effort from a romance author who is getting better with every story she writes.
