Bobby Ray Smith, affectionately known as Smitty, has settled his growing Pack in New York City, far from his family in Tennessee. He may be far from home but the woman he desires has never been far from his thoughts. Smitty always knew his little Jessie Ann was something special, not for the likes of him. Throughout high school Smitty fought the need to drag her under the bleechers every time he saw her - and since he spent a lot of time protecting her from his sister and her bitchy friends, Smitty was walked in a constant state of painful arousal.

Now, Jessie Ann is Jessica Ward, the polished CEO of a computer database security company and, to all appearances, is a long way from the geeky, gangly limbed teenager willing to roll over belly-up for just a smile from Smitty. But she wants nothing to do with Smitty, or his crazy family. She has had it with his constant brush-offs.

Like any wolf on the hunt Smitty has no intention of giving up the chase until he has Jessie Ann right where he wants her underneath him, preferably naked, for the rest of their lives.

Shelly Laurenston delivers another laugh out loud, fabulous, sexy read sure to have you either sitting in a puddle or reaching for your loved one (animate or inanimate, you choose). Readers familiar with her earlier books about the Magnus Pack are in for a pleasant surprise. Trust me, ladies, these characters are so real you'll want to jump the alphas and either knock the alpha chicks unconscious or take them clubbing.
