Sophie Wainwright is on a mission. She is tired of dreaming about Tracker McBride - she wants to sleep with him! The problem is, that even though he works for her brother, Tracker has stayed out of Sophie’s life. Surely she can’t have imagined the pull of attraction that she felt when he rescued her from those kidnappers?!
Tracker has his own mission. He is trying to guard Sophie from a new danger, while maintaining his personal distance. Not because he doesn’t want her, but because he wants her too much! He doesn’t think that he will be able to keep his hands off her, so he decides to seduce her until he can work her out of his system.
Watching these two stubborn people butt heads is a pleasure. The dialogue is witty and their attempts to outdo each other are entertaining. Their sensual natures lead them to some steamy scenes that live up to the Blaze theme. The personal plot is nicely woven with the international smuggling story that places them both in danger. It is a very satisfying read; in fact, I am planning on reading it again because I think that I may have spotted Ms. Summers’ next pair of lovebirds!
