Ms. Harper once again brings us a compelling story with characters you sympathize with from the beginning. Wasting no time, the drama starts from page one and doesn’t let up until the very end of the book.

Briana Devon and her twin sister Daria co-own a marine search and salvage shop and also study the local marine life. On a routine dive Briana surfaces to find her sister and their boat missing, and a major storm on the way. Four miles from land she starts swimming as the storm worsens.

Cole De Roca had to beach his sail boat when the lightening became a threat to his safety. When he hears a cry and then finds a woman washed up on the beach, he realizes who it is and knows if he doesn’t act quickly she will die.

Despite the rough seas, Cole puts her in his boat and heads back to the Florida town where help is waiting. When Briana awakens in the hospital her health is the least of her concerns. She knows her sister wouldn’t willing leave her out there and she is desperate to find her.

While Briana searches for her sister, she realizes she doesn’t know her as well and she thought she did. Every secret she stumbles across offers her new suspects. But will she be able to figure out who it is before they stop her?
