Lady Sydney Hathwell was only going to dress as a man temporarily. The reason she dressed as a man was to flee undetected her home a ocean away. She was avoiding a arranged marriage to a man she could not stand. When she ran into Big Tom Creighton, her uncle’s partner, she had no choice but to keep her secret hidden a while longer. She may have bigger problems if she does reveal her true gender to soon.

Big Tom is bound and determined to turn his boss’s nephew into a manly man. He is sickened at the thought the dandy before him could inherit the ranch he has worked so hard on for so long. He is thankful his boss is not at the ranch to see his kinfolk in this condition. By the time he gets done with fancy pants, he will be the best rancher owner ever. Tom is in for the ride of his life when he starts the training of this young pup.

Another great historical from a gifted author, Cathy Marie Hake. Her humor is refreshing in each of her books, there are side splitting scenes the reader will not soon forget. Her characters at times seem almost like they are real people with real issues they try to resolve to the best of their abilities.
