Joseph Jonathan Worth, also known as Joe, is known for protecting people, that’s the business he is in. His horoscope promised him trouble. What kind of trouble is unknown until he notices a woman standing outside his office door. Well at least he hopes she is the kind of trouble he would like. A sexy lady with legs that go on for what seems like a mile, blond hair and a gorgeous face too. But what kind of trouble is she in or is she trouble?

April needs Joe’s help and to ask for it she must break a promise to her own guardian angel, the one who saved her when she was nine years old from a dark-eyed man who had her locked in the basement. April will never forget that fear or those eyes. April informs Joe that she is his sister and he has to help her. His Mother is missing and on the run. What does Joe do but throw her out. He may have a sister but he has no Mother. His Mother, Phyllis Worth left him when he was a child.

After April leaves he is wondering how he could have a sister and she kept her but not him. Maybe he needs some answers. Does Joe have a sister? Who is Cornelia, also known as Cornie? Just what has Phyllis done that she is on the run. Does it have to do with April’s past? Who will die at the hands of Quilan Braid, also known as “Q”? Who is this “Q” man anyway? Is he an old boyfriend of Phyllis’ or does she owe him something> To what extreme will Joe have to go to protect April? It’s personal now for he has very strong feelings for April. Also where has Phyllis gone and is she only thinking of herself?

I read Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye in one sitting. I could not put this suspense romance down. E.C. Sheedy made her characters come alive. Her writing puts you in the room and I enjoyed every minute reading this book. I know you will to for it is a must read.
