Dorie Anderson’s life isn’t what she’d imagined it would be at this stage of her life. Instead of designing her own line of clothes, she’s stocking shelves at Shop-Mart. When she learns she’s won a week long sailing cruise in Fiji she jumps at the chance to get away.

Accident prone Dorie makes quite an impression before even stepping foot on board. She meets two sexy and totally different men, and soon finds herself having to make a very difficult decision – should she encourage Andy the sexy baseball player, or Christian, the grumpy but gorgeous French doctor?

When she’s with Andy she finds herself unable to speak as her tongue has the tendency to swell when she’s near an attractive man. Curiously Christian doesn’t seem to leave her tongue tied, though he certainly affects other parts of her body.

When the boat ends up in the midst of a hurricane and one of the crew goes missing, Dorie is certain he was pushed overboard. They safely make it to land, but Dorie wonders who among them may be capable of murder. And will she ever get off this island and taste chocolate again?

This romance is a delightful blend of romance and fun with a light touch of mystery. Not only are we treated to a love story, we get to enjoy Dorie’s budding friendship with two other women on board. The Trouble with Paradise is a treat not to be missed.
