Dorcas and Ambrose Lowell are the matchmaking sex therapists for lovelorn wizards and witches. Problem is they made one tiny mistake and get banished for it! They are new to the tiny town of Big Knob, Indiana. They ended up there for the crime of “irreparable sexual mischief through magic”. Did I mention that Dorcas is a witch and Ambrose is a wizard? The rest of their punishment deals with ….well, that’s a surprise! Oh, I just have to tell you! Dorcas and Ambrose have to “straighten out” an ADD dragon named George!

Sean Madigan is the local Mr. Fix-it and he has it all; looks, tons of sex appeal, personality – he can have any woman he wants. Problem is he’s sick of the “stud muffin” label. He’s sick of finding nude women sitting in his truck, holding a box of condoms. He’s sick of being chased down the street; he’s sick of being groped in public! He’s just sick and tired of the women making a pass at him! When he gets invited to dinner at the Lowell’s, they decide to “help him out”. Little does Sean know the “help” they plan on giving or he may have turned them down!

Maggie Grady works as a location scout for a “box store” company and she’s come to Big Knob in order to look at a piece of property that might be ideal. She needs the purchase of this property to save her job – little does she know that Sean, the first person she meets upon her arrival in town, is saving up to buy the exact same property but his reasons are sentimental.

Over Hexed by Vicki Lewis Thompson is great fun! Sean is a wonderful hero and while Maggie ended up a great heroine, at times I did have some problems with her all-business attitude, showing up at the most inopportune times, and her lack of trust in Sean. The residents of Big Knob are great comic relief, especially the woman who were always hitting on Sean and all the “matchmakers”! What about Dorcas and Ambrose? Well, they are still in Big Knob because they haven’t fulfilled their obligation yet. Stay tuned……I am because I want to see what happens with George!!
