Author Pamela Britton knows just what to offer a reader like me Ė a sexy romance featuring a NASCAR driver, and a touching story about sacrifice and compassion.

Indi Wilcox has no time for egotistical athletes who scorn their fans. She wishes she was anywhere but Lake Norman, tracking down Todd Peters on behalf of her client, a little boy whose last wish is to meet racingís current bad boy.

Todd Peters has no idea who this woman is, or why she is spouting such venom in his direction. He doesnít have anything to do with his appearance schedule. He just goes where he is told. He canít believe that his PR team would have cancelled a meeting with a hospitalized child. He isnít some heartless monster, just a driver with ambition.

He is impressed with Indiís dedication to her work and the families that she helps, but he can see that it is taking a toll on the young woman. He would love to show her how to relax.

Total Control will take readers on a thrilling ride filled with strong emotions. The plight of children fighting terminal illness is evident throughout the book, as well as their courage and family support. Todd and Indi both have lessons to learn about life and love.
