He’s baaaaack! The bad boy of the romantica world strikes again! Peeking through curtains, hiding under beds, eyes glued to keyholes, S.L. Carpenter has once again documented the foibles and fantasies of sex!

If you enjoyed the antics of Strange Lust 1, you absolutely must not miss this marvelous follow up. Not a sequel so much as a continuation, Mr. Carpenter has repeated his successful formula of presenting little vignettes about everyday people – well, mostly everyday people. They get into funny, silly, awkward, embarrassing and just flat-out hysterical situations! And we, courtesy of S.L., get to watch. What fun!

There is a difference however, between this book and Strange Lust 1. It’s very noticeable that Carpenter’s voice is becoming stronger, firmer, and more assured – these stories reflect his growth as a writer and the style he’s developing is one of maturity and comfort with his characters and their adventures. Whereas SL1 was an all-night frat party, this is a splendid orgy of gargantuan proportions, rich with depth and ambience, and alive with vibrant characters. No matter how brief the story, you’ll find something to catch your attention.

Yes – this is one hell of a sexy book. Don’t expect to find sex tied up with a pretty pink bow and accompanied by roses. This is a no-holds-barred glimpse into “real” sex – love handles, sound effects, pets and all! I defy anyone to read this book and not find one moment or one story that might have been adapted from an incident in their lives. I laughed a lot and very much enjoyed this hot romp! It is definitely recommended, especially for those of us who remember when sex was a breathtaking journey into sensuality but now realize it’s also something that can cramp your muscles and throw your back out! I hope there’s a Strange Lust 3 on the way.
