Lucinda was once a Monère Queen, a being able to transfer the power of the moon to the males of her kind, but that was before she died. Now, Lucinda is demon dead, which is what only the strongest of her species become if they continue on to an afterlife, and princess of the demon dead as well. After several centuries of existence Lucinda is finding that less and less is holding her attention so when a rogue Monère warrior on the run from his Queen stirs her interest just before he is attacked Lucinda decides to step in to help. Afterward the Monère warrior, Stefan, offers his services to Lucinda but she is unsure if she should accept them. But Stefan isn’t the only male that finds Lucinda enticing and she will have to conquer her insecurities if she is to find happiness.

Lucinda, Darkly is intriguing and captivating and won’t fail to lure readers. Demon dead princess Lucinda is a fantastic character struggling with her self-worth and yet capturing hearts with her sweet inability to see the goodness harbored within herself. Lucinda’s yummy Monère warriors, Stefan and Nico, are going to star in many a readers fantasies but their scrumptiousness aside the warriors are sure to draw readers with their desire to find a purpose and someone to love. Sunny is a wonderful writer that has created characters that readers will demand to learn more about and who they will enjoy reading as the characters find their way to happiness. I can’t wait to learn more about these characters and find out what the next novel has in store for these captivating characters in what is sure to be a captivating series. Sunny has created such believable characters that are both great and flawed and that readers will be able to relate with.
