As an Arrow Judd Lauren used his incredible powers to carry out the Psy Councilís agenda removing obstacles and threats to his people. Now he stands beside the Changelings against his former leaders and uses his skills as a highly trained assassin to change the world. He feels nothing and is content to stay that way until he meets Brenna Shane Kincaid.

Brenna is still recovering from the brutal assault that has left her with abilities no Changeling has ever had. Her mind, her body and her sense of self were violated in the most brutal way possible by a serial killer operating within the Psy community. She questions her sanity everyday and trusts one man to tell her the cold unvarnished truth - Judd Lauren. There is something about the sexy Psy that sets her Changeling senses tingling. But the discovery of the dead body of a Packmate, whose remains has bear marks Brenna is all too familiar with, raises new concerns about her mental health. Judd will do anything in his considerable power for Brenna, the Changeling who captured his heart, but if he breaks the conditioning that keeps his awesome powers in check he may become the killing machine, the monster, she fears.

Nalini Singh continues to dazzle and ensnare new readers with each addition to the Psy/Changeling series. I confess I am obsessed with this series. Caressed by Ice will satisfy readers like myself who have been hooked from book one Slave to Sensation with more insight into this fascinating world. Newcomers should be aware that this series is addictive and will keep you up late into the night finishing it. Every character sparkles with life and presence you will be sorry they are not flesh and blood. The action is fast and furious so there is no chance for boredom. And the sensuality is so heavy from the beginning you will need to fan yourself repeatedly. Go. Buy. Read.

Enjoy!
