Former Miss U.S.A, Alexandra Scott, is doing a study on mountain lions in Colorado. She is surrounded by nothing but nature, snow and cold. Alexandra is also called Alex and has made friends in the four years she has lived in Colorado with those in the town of Casteel. Alex would rather be alone though.
Out of the sky something is dropped! Well, he was pushed out of a helicopter near the area that Alex was working. Tag Donovan can either become a hungry lionís dinner or she could make sure that does not happen, which she does. No idea who he is or why he was tossed from the helicopter, she helps him back to her cabin. Tag is barely able to walk but with her help, they arrive there. Once inside Alex ties Tag up, but by then he is so out of it he has no idea until he wakes up.
He is hiding something from her. She does not know but she now wonders if he is up to no good. That is until he mentions the Lost Spaniard Treasure. He wants her as his guide for he knows of someone who has the map to its location. Before anything could really be worked out they have to leave suddenly. The cabin is on fire and someone unknown is chasing them. What about Tag, does he know?
When in town the mention of the Treasure and people show up from all over. There is another person who wants Alexís help and will pay lots of money for it. She could rebuild her cabin if she helps and he is willing to give her more than enough for that plus anything else she may need. But whom will she help?
Will Tag and Alex be able to act on the attraction they have for each other? They could melt the snow around them with the heat. Is it love or just lust and the timing of the danger surrounding them? When itís over, are they over? How will Alex react when she finds out Tagís reason for being there? Will they go their separate ways and will hearts be broken?
Tag, Youíre It! by Penny McCall is very much a suspense romance and will be a keeper for me and I hope to locate all of her other books. I could not put this book down. I enjoyed every page and found I kept turning the pages, for I wanted to know what was next for these characters.
