Jake Chambers is leaving the world of glitz and glamour behind. The world-renowned chef needs to clear his head but also kept busy. Jake needed a break from the very busy and hectic life in California. A smaller town restaurant was just what he needed.
Olivia Bell, also known as Liv, is now a local vintner and has been a supplier for the restaurant that is now owned by Jake. As a top model she was one to save her money and when it was time to leave that life behind she put her savings into a business she would love and that was making wine.
What these two did not count on was the sexual attraction that has drawn them together. Jake is not just good in the kitchen but also any room. Not only can the man cook but he can deliver in other areas too. Liv wonders how long he will be around and Jake wonders if itís just a fling, but neither can keep away from each other for very long.
Wine, Tarts, & Sex is just what the title says. I found very little feeling in this book. No emotions: just words on paper. Where was the romance? I did not enjoy this book by Susan Johnson at all and would not recommend it.
