Marshy Hope Creek is a place to relax, not worry about time, taking the time to fish and stop and smell the flowers. For some, though itís all business. Bailey Jones was the misfit in town. He wants to sell some land and leave this place without a backward glance. When a body is found on the parcel he wants to sell, he knows he will not be leaving any time soon. Chloe Richards is the other problem standing in his way to exit town, she has come back.

There are those that donít want long buried secrets to be dug up and will stop at nothing to make sure no one digs any of them up for the world to see including Bailey Jones. The past will come back and haunt those who made the wrong choices.

Chesapeake Summer is the anticipated sequel to Chesapeake Tide. As this reviewer did not have the pleasure of the first book, I felt lost at times when the story referred back to the past. Enjoyable read nevertheless.
