Andrea Benita Cochran is the heroine of this story. A corporate executive in the radio business in Detroit, she meets and falls in love with Clayton Deveraux who is in a similar business in Atlanta. However, the story revolves around Benita, who is almost Superwoman; she is such a paragon of everything that is good and sweet.

When I started this book I really thought I wasn’t going to like it at all. Benita is just too perfect. Everyone loves her and she does not a thing wrong. I like my heroines to have the odd flaw that makes her human. However the story is a very good one. Clayton is a brilliant hero and his dark smouldering looks would make any lady’s heart flutter. He falls totally in love with Benita and she returns this love. The passion is so hot the pages nearly burnt my fingers!

Another niggle I had with the story was the constant referring to every piece of named designer clothing and accessory worn by Benita. I knew after the first few pages that she was very rich and wore the best that money could buy. So I felt that it was unnecessary to keep referring to this with every clothes change she made, which was a considerable amount of times!

The drama that unfolds in the last quarter of the book is really well written and took me totally by surprise. There are also some excellent secondary characters that could one day have there own story... like Renee and Andrew - sexual tension there a-plenty!

I give the book a high rating because it is a well-written story and the flaws probably won’t annoy most readers like it did me! The content far outweighs the little annoyances.
