Ever since she was summoned by a necromancer and almost enspelled, Magdelegna has felt different. As a demon of the mind, her powers are growing stronger at a faster pace than usual, and she is worried. Her brother, the king, has enough on his mind. He does not need to worry about her too. She has even started to mask her new abilities from others.
There is one demon who is not fooled. Gideon is one of the oldest and most powerful demons in the world. As a healer, his skills are unsurpassed, and it was his strength that enabled Legna and Isabella to break free from the spell that ensnared them. Gideon came out of seclusion to help Jacob and continues to assist Isabella as she bears Jacobís child. This will be a new beginning for the Nightwalkers and humanity.
Gideon cannot mask his desire for the kingís sister. His passion burns like a living torch and his well-known control is turned to ash. Somehow he must either meet Legna on equal ground or remove himself from her presence forever.
The second book in the Nightwalkers series, Gideon is a delight. Author Jacquelyn Frank gives readers both passion and danger to heighten the senses. The book continues the storyline seamlessly as more characters, both human and not, are introduced to combat the necromancers. I cannot wait for the next book, Elijah, which is due in December.
