Cody Jameson is a force to be reckoned with. The name alone sent chills down every sidewinder west of the Pecos. A master of disguise, there was no way to know that the famous bounty hunter was a woman.

Luke Majors had a large price on his head running with a gang associated with El Diablo, one of the most vicious people in the west. When Luke meets the fiery Cody, she`s dressed as a lady preacher, but there`s no hiding that the outlaw affected her.

Wanted for a robbery that he didn`t have a part in, Luke is trying to find out who El Diablo is, but the bounty hunter after a reward keeps getting in his way.

After some slapstick comedy and some cunning disguises on Cody`s part, they find that El Diablo was closer to home than they first thought, and they have to race to save a friend`s life. But it may already be too late to save themselves from a desire that threatens to burn them alive.

Lady Deception is a fast paced, roaring good time. I enjoyed the dialogue, the plot, the action, the love scenes, even the side stories between the sheriff and a married woman, which normally I hate.

Cody is the perfect heroine, one without fear and full of daring. Luke is the typical wounded man, but is the perfect match for Cody because he doesn`t know that she`s a bounty hunter out for the large sum of money on his head.

I highly recommend this book - be sure to pick it up if you see it!
