When Dana Benson is arrested for a shooting, she believes that people have lost their minds. But when she sees the incriminating tape that was captured by a witness, she knows there`s only one thing she can do. Get a good lawyer.

What she got was a wild card, Kurt Saxon, who just happened to have a law degree. At first, Dana isn`t convinced that it`s a good idea, but Kurt promises her that he`ll get to the bottom of it and calls in the help of a private investigator.

Kurt and Dana, dodging bullets and sorting through lies, find that there is an undeniable attraction toward each other that borders on unorthodox in a lawyer/client relationship. But when Dana finds that she`s a twin, she has to find out why she never knew about her sister... or why the twin was holding a gun.

This is the first book by Sheryl Lynn that I read, and I can`t wait to get my hands on the sequel about the twin and the private investigator in Dark Star. Dana was a wonderful character, someone you could easily be sympathized with when her world is turned upside down.

And Kurt is by far and away the sexiest lawyer I`ll ever read about! If you find this in your bookstore, I really recommend it!
