Almost killed by an assassin, and losing only his eye in the process, Guy De Young the person "dies" and becomes an unnamed man, a pirate. Now he is a man that is bent on revenge against those who had stood between him and freedom and his one heart`s desire.

Bliss Greenville found herself in the clutches of the buccaneer that struck fear into the hearts of men and wooed women with a glance of his silver eye. But there was also something about him, something that reminded her of a time long ago.

He had her for one reason, and one reason alone. Revenge. But once she`s on his island, he finds he wants more than revenge from the woman that had once bewitched him.

Connie Mason is always an interesting read, and I have to say, I`m impressed with this story of pirates, mystery and a romance to remember. Guy De Young started as a young, somewhat naive man, and became a man with a wounded soul, one that only Bliss could heal. And I have to say that it was very convincing. Even the way he made love to her changed, which I thought was a very nice touch in convincing the reader that he was totally changed.

Also, Ms. Mason wove into the fray a wonderful blend of historical characters that were in fact, real. I am truly impressed.

If you see Pirate do not miss out this great read!
