After rocking along for nearly twenty years as a category author, Vicki Lewis Thompson's startled herself by becoming an overnight single-title success. When her first mainstream NERD IN SHINING ARMOR became a Reading with Ripa pick of the summer this year, the book promptly hit all the major lists -- NYT, USA Today, and Publisher's Weekly, not to mention being #1 at Waldenbooks. Vicki's most certainly old enough to know better than to give up a satisfying category career that's provided her numerous awards, eight RITA nominations and a slew of terrific readers. She's currently enjoying the best of both worlds!
